Snowbirds Aerobatic Shows - Stephenville Airport
It’s official. The Snowbirds will be holding two shows at Stephenville airport. The last time that the team performed in Stephenville was in 2008, which was the last one in Newfoundland and Labrador for the aerobatic precision flying team.
Ms. Martin (Airport CEO and Manager) said they also have confirmation that the 103 Rescue Squadron out of Gander will be participating in the weekend’s activities. The airport is also awaiting confirmation from Greenwood Air Force Base in Nova Scotia that they will be having an aircraft at the event.

Marche de la St. Jean Baptiste / St. John the Baptist Walk - Mainland/La Grand'terre
13km annual hike between Cape St. George and Mainland celebrating St. Jean Baptist Day. Two starting points: The French Centre in Cape St. George and Mainland. A challenging for hikers.

Canada Day - Stephenville
Celebrate Canada Day in Stephenville with entertainment and games, cake cutting and fun for family and friends.

Stephenville Theatre Festival - Stephenville
Professional theatre company. All performances are at the Arts & Culture Centre.

Bay St. George Mi' Kmaq Pow-Wow - Flat Bay
This year's Pow-Wow will focus on family and the role of women, plus special sessions for children to learn about their history and culture. Everyone welcome.

Sand And Sea Festival - Burgeo

Codroy Valley Folk Festival - Upper Ferry
One of the longest running festivals on the island. Featuring traditional and folk music. The festival has been taking place since 1982.
July 26th
Joe MacNeil Antique Car Show - Stephenville
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the general public can view some of the most interesting cars in the province. The show is held every two years and bears the name of Joe MacNeil, who was known throughout Bay St. George and beyond as an avid car collector and restorer. Anyone interested in putting a car in the show can contact Bob Byrnes.

Cape St. George & Mainland Folk Festival / Regional Bilingual Folk Festival - Cape St. George
Bilingual folk festival of the Port au Port Peninsula with traditional music, dance, kids games and crafts. Festival régional bilingue avec de la musique et la danse traditionnelles.
August 8th - 10th
Black Duck Brook Festival / Un Plaisir du vieux temps - Black Duck Brook
Traditional folk festival with French and English Artists. Good food, kids games and good fun. Festival de musique traditionnelle avec des musiciens francophones et anglophones.
August 23rd - 24th
Tour de Port au Port Bike Race - Port au Port East
Held over two days, participate in a Bike Newfoundland and Labrador sanctioned race (competitive and recreational riders) as well as a bike rodeo for the kids.
September 27th - 28th
Port au Port Agricultural Fall Fair - Port au Port West
The Agricultural Fall Fair is an annual event featuring fresh vegetables, crafts,preserves and baked goods for sale.
