Snowbirds Aerobatic Shows - Stephenville Airport
It’s official. The Snowbirds will be holding two shows at Stephenville airport. The last time that the team performed in Stephenville was in 2008, which was the last one in Newfoundland and Labrador for the aerobatic precision flying team. Ms. Martin (Airport CEO and Manager) said they also have confirmation that the 103 Rescue Squadron out of Gander will be participating in the weekend’s activities. The airport is also awaiting confirmation from Greenwood Air Force Base in Nova Scotia that they will be having an aircraft at the event.

Marche de la St. Jean Baptiste / St. John the Baptist Walk - Mainland/La Grand'terre
13km annual hike between Cape St. George and Mainland celebrating St. Jean Baptist Day. Two starting points: The French Centre in Cape St. George and Mainland. A challenging for hikers.

Joe MacNeil Antique Car Show - Stephenville
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the general public can view some of the most interesting cars in the province. The show is held every two years and bears the name of Joe MacNeil, who was known throughout Bay St. George and beyond as an avid car collector and restorer. Anyone interested in putting a car in the show can contact Bob Byrnes.
